Focus Flip (“the App”) is a productivity and focus-tracking tool that allows users to track phone-down sessions, earn points, unlock custom categories, and customize app colors. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about how data is handled.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Focus Flip does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

Specifically, we do not:

• Require an account or login.
• Collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details.
• Track your identity or link any data to you as an individual.
• Store data on external servers or cloud services.
• Access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.

All app data is processed and stored locally on your device only.

2. Information the App Does Collect

To provide the app’s core functionality, Focus Flip collects and stores the following non-personal, local-only data on your device.

Focus Session Data

• Start and end times of your phone-down focus sessions.
• Session duration.
• The category you assign to each session (e.g., Work, Study, Custom).
• Focus points earned based on completed sessions.

This information never leaves your device.

Customization & Settings

• Custom categories you create.
• Color themes and visual preferences you unlock or choose.
• Your focus point balance and in-app unlocks.
• Other in-app preferences and filters.

All of this is stored only on your device to personalize your experience.

Gyroscope / Motion Sensor Use

To detect when your phone is placed face down, the app uses device motion sensors (such as the gyroscope). This data is:

• Used only in real time to determine phone orientation.
• Not stored or logged.
• Not transmitted to any server.
• Not linked to any personal identity.

3. In-App Purchases

Focus Flip offers optional in-app purchases, such as buying 100 focus points for $0.99 to unlock new custom categories or color themes.

All payments are processed securely by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store:

• Credit card or payment details.
• Your Apple ID or personal billing information.
• Transaction identifiers tied to your identity.

We may receive anonymous confirmation from Apple that a purchase was successful so the app can grant you the purchased points on your device. This information is not linked to any personal identity within the app.

4. Third-Party Services

Focus Flip does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

• No ads.
• No tracking or marketing SDKs.
• No external analytics tools.
• No data sharing with third parties.

Your data stays on your device and is never sold, shared, or monetized.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All session data, categories, points, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not keep any copy of this data on external servers.

If you delete the app from your device, all associated data (including focus sessions, points, categories, and preferences) is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

6. Children’s Privacy

Focus Flip is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

Because we do not collect any personal data, the app is designed to comply with applicable children’s privacy requirements.

7. Security

Since Focus Flip does not transmit your data to external servers and stores everything locally on your device, many common data security risks are reduced.

We encourage you to keep your device’s operating system up to date and use a device passcode or biometric lock to protect access to your phone and apps.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Focus Flip after any changes to this policy will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
